Mark Ellershaw

Mr Mark Ellershaw

Mark has been working as a plumber since he left school.  He spent two great years on an island off the west coast of Canada studying God's word at a Torchbearers centre called Capernwray Harbour.  He loves sport, especially football, and manages and plays in a team in the local Christian league.

Josh Huddleston

Mr Josh Huddleston

Josh has lived in Brookhouse all his life.  He started attending Caton Baptist Church in 2008 after he married his wife Lisa and they wanted to find a local church to commit to together.  He was baptised and became a church member in 2014, and regularly helps out in the Sunday School, which he really enjoys.  Josh works at a local skip company which keeps him busy, but in his spare time he enjoys having fun with his little boy, pottering in his garage and catching up with friends.  Josh became a deacon in March 2016 and is looking forward to what God has for the church both now and in the future.

Steven Park

Mr Steven Park

Steven is married to Joy and they have four sons.  They have been worshipping at Caton Baptist since they were married 19 years ago.  Steven has been a deacon since 2011 and is often known as the practical one behind the scenes.  He is a busy farmer and works long hours on his sheep farm.  Every November Steven hosts Caton Baptist annual bonfire and firework event on his farm, where many people from the Lune Valley enjoy a great family night out.  Steven always puts God first in his life and as a family they look to the future knowing God is in control.

Stephen Talbot

Mr Stephen Talbot

Stephen joined the fellowship at the tender age of 4 or 5.  After attending Halton Primary School and Ripley St Thomas High School, he worked on his father’s farm prior to starting his own business and spending much of his life selling winter fuel products.  He is currently Sales Director for Logs Direct Ltd.  Stephen is married to June and has three children: Phil, Andrew and Josh.  He was involved in Sunday school and youth work prior to becoming a church deacon, which then led to his calling to become Church secretary in 2010.  He enjoys church life, feels privileged to be part of the CBC team and is looking forward to what God has got in store for the future.
