Caton Baptist Church
Our chapel is situated by Artlebeck Bridge, between the two villages of Caton and Brookhouse. We meet every Sunday at 10.30am for morning service, which we try to make relevant for the needs of all. Morning service is followed by a brew and a chat, where we get to know each other better. On Sunday evenings we have usually have a prayer meeting at 6.00pm, followed by a service at 6.30pm, and this can take a variety of forms.
We love Jesus and do our best to care for each other and those around us. Visitors to our fellowship often comment on the warmth of the welcome and the lovely atmosphere at Caton.
During the week we generally meet in people’s homes to share together and encourage one another to follow Jesus. These get-togethers are open to all and if you contact the Church Secretary, he will gladly put you in touch with a group near you.
Children and young people hold a special place in our fellowship. We usually have a children's talk in the first part of morning worship and most weeks children leave for the latter part of the service to be taught in their own groups. Once a month on the second Sunday morning we have an “All Age” service where together we praise the Lord and seek to learn together.
We would love you to join us!
